Lexi Shaver | Softball | Riverton High School
In April, Lexi maintained a .500 batting average, hit 2 home runs, and hit 5 runs. Lexi is a powerhouse in our dominant lineup and was a big part of Riverton Softball’s success this year. Lexi was an integral part of her team that maintained the #9 national ranking and the #1 RPI in the state. Riverton Softball has led the state in softball all year, and Lexi Shaver has played a huge part in that, both offensively and defensively.

Citlalli joined JHS Softball last season as a rookie. Citlalli’s work ethic has quickly transformed her into a leader and starter. Citlalli constantly has a positive influence on her teammates during practice and games.
Eliza Smith | Athletics | Bingham High School
Eliza is a standout hurdler on the Bingham Miners track team. She is currently ranked 1st in the state in the 100 meter hurdles and 2nd in the 300 meter hurdles. Eliza is a great teammate who pushes everyone to do their best. Eliza also excels in the classroom, where she has a 3.9 grade point average.
Shay Johnson | Softball | Juan Diego Catholic High School
Shay Johnson led her team with a .421 batting average, 16 hits, 27 runs and 3 homers!
Madison Garcia | Softball | Providence Hall High School
Freshman Madison Garcia had a stellar first season for Providence Hall with a .643 batting average, 30 runs, 36 hits and 11 doubles!

Matt has a 6-0 record as a starting pitcher this season. In addition, Matt has proven to be a model student athlete during his 4 years at JHS. Matt is also an Academic All-State Award winner.
Cody Hone | Athletics | Bingham High School
Cody is instrumental in leading the Bingham Boys track team. Cody is currently the sixth fastest boy in the 100m, fifth fastest in the 200m and second fastest in the 400m in the state. He is not only an outstanding athlete, but also a positive role model and sets a good example. He works extremely hard to improve his sprinting skills and demands that his teammates do their best too. Cody is also caring and compassionate and can be seen cheering up teammates after a performance they were not happy with. Cody also excels in the classroom, where he maintains a 3.9 GPA.
Malik Harris | Baseball | Juan Diego Catholic High School
Malik Harris, a junior at Juan Diego Catholic, had a stellar season with a .429 batting average, 24 hits, 20 runs, 3 homers and 8 doubles.
Jantzen Anderson | Baseball | Corner Canyon High School
Senior, Jantzen Anderson, has led his Corner Canyon team with 22 hits, 18 runs, .367 batting average and 32 assists.

Tasha Hokanson | Softball | High school ridges
She has hit 500, five home runs in 10 games, allowed only 1 stolen bag in 10 games as a catcher and has been the heart of the softball team all year.
Kaysen-Korth | Softball | Riverton High School
Kaysen is Riverton’s starting pitcher and is unbeaten on the mound so far. She’s a returning pitcher from last year’s state championship team and wants a repeat. It’s been a record year so far and is one of the reasons the Silverwolves are ranked #10 nationally (first place in program history)! Kaysen averages 12 strikeouts per game when she’s on the mound.
Kaysen is not only a dominant force on the hill, but also a key component in our strong offense this year. She bats with a .545 batting average and 4 home runs, which is currently the third in the state for home runs.
Kaysen Korth not only dominates in the softball world, but also excels in the classroom. She has a GPA of 3,752 and plans to continue her education at Weber State University. Kaysen signed a letter of intent to play softball at Weber State University and plans to major in physical education.

Jordyn Dangerfield gives everything she has to the task at hand, whether it is science or sport. She is trainable and constantly trying to improve, and she encourages others around her to do the same. She is a crucial component of Jordan’s team. Jordyn is a powerful force on the field. Her athleticism and ball handling skills are incredible. Dominican University of California is so lucky to have such a great athlete and person on their team next year.

Spencer Sharp | Athletics | Riverton High School
Spencer began his freshman year as an underperforming long-distance runner. In the last 4 years he has worked purposefully hard. Spencer ran a 4:18 in the 1600 and a 9:09 in the 3200 last weekend. The 3200 time was good enough for Riverton’s school record and one of the fastest times ever run by a 6a athlete. This is a complete movie history in which hard work, perseverance and passion against all odds have made him one of the best runners in Utah history.
Nick Anderson | Lacrosse | Bingham High School
Bryson Baker leads Providence Hall in rebounds with 6.3 rpg and is second in scoring with 9.6 ppg.
Jonah Knubel | football | Jordan High School
After a 5-month recovery from a severe concussion, Jonah started his senior season with a bang, scoring 5 goals and 1 assist in March alone. Jonah also received praise from his team in the form of being selected as one of Jordan’s team captains.
Austin Lund | Lacrosse | Juan Diego Catholic High School
In the first 4 games of the season, Austin made 48 saves with 83 shots on goal. Austin was also voted Player of the Game for two games.
