Parade Street Commons East is an affordable housing development proposal in Erie, PA. The project, designed according to the strict passive house standard, includes:

In addition, there is a communal building, a playground and a communal garden. The site is arranged to blend into the neighboring context while maximizing south-facing exposure for passive and active solar design and providing off-street parking. A major design challenge was a large underground telecommunications facility that runs diagonally through the site. The buildings were designed to be manufactured in a modular factory to minimize construction time.
